5 EASY Extra Income Streams Without Extra Work

Anyone want to make more money? Yeah, me too! As a part-time Stay-at-Home Mommy, I am always looking for easy ways to add income without taking away time from my new little bundle of joy. I am also the Director of a non-profit ministry which requires a lot of time and focus but doesn’t bring home a huge paycheck, as you can imagine. So, I will never turn down some good financial advice that doesn’t require more of my day. I found some great wisdom that will enable me to do just that so I thought I would share the wealth! It may not sound possible, but it really is.

I came across a video that explained 5 easy steps to adding extra income… Five Easy Extra Income Streams actually. Let me stop right here and give credit where credit is due. If you haven’t heard of her yet, you need to check out Donna Krech. She’s a business systems guru with a background in weight loss with multi-million dollar companies. We’ve all heard “work smarter, not harder” right?! I know I live by this phrase. It is so important protect my time with my new baby but as a business women, time is money and I am not interested in losing a lot of dollars due to inefficiency. Krech is all about concepts that lead to working less and making more!

Ok, so back to the easy income… honestly when I first read the headline, I thought, “too good to be true”. How can income come easy? I’ve seen these concepts work personally! Here’s a summary of the steps (you’ll have to go to Krech’s site to get all the details).

1. Coaching – teach someone what you already know how to do
2. Audios/Workbook of your coaching – sell a copy of teaching someone what you already know how to do
3. Referrals – people will begin to come to you for the coaching you sold to someone else **give the people doing the referral a bonus for sending someone your way!**
4. Coaching Referrals – teach the referrals what you already know how to do
5. Workshop – teach a group of people what you already know how to do

When I read that, I thought to myself “duh”! I don’t even have to get extra training to implement and profit from these extra income streams. All I have to do is tell people I will share my knowledge with them, record it(and maybe transcribe it), accept referrals, share your knowledge with them and get a group together. It’s amazing to me how simple this is and you can charge people for each step. It’s a valuable service that they will pay for somewhere else anyway, right?!

I had to remember that this can be applied to any profession. I work in non-profit and I am great at fundraising. Do you know how many people don’t know how to fundraise? This was so obvious, I couldn’t even see it. I could teach people what I already know how to do. Krech used the example of a contractor who could teach people how to “Do It Yourself” and the result what not losing business, it grew his business because more people came to buy from him and when there was a step that was too big for the do-it-yourselfer to do, guess who they trusted to hire for the project… RIGHT, the contractor! As a mom, I am always multi-tasking (which by the way, Krech teaches as well) and could teach that skill… okay, you get the point.
